The correct breathing pattern while running is essential. It is necessary to allow your lungs to expand and contract adequately while running. Incorrect breathing leads to tiredness and overconsumption of energy. You are learning how to breathe while running takes time and practice like anything else. Staying hydrated during your run is very important; it lessens fatigue, cramps, and other medical conditions. Even after your run, it is crucial to remain hydrated. When you have just gotten up from sitting or sleeping to decide to run, is it important to stretch or not. I have been running for over 20 years and know the importance of stretching. When you don’t stretch, you make room for injury, which can hamper the momentum you’ve started and your journey for good health. Stretching loosens up your muscles to keep you flexible and robust for your run. It prevents you from being too stiff in your run and makes it more enjoyable.

Stay consistent with your workout regiment. Also, getting started may be a hurdle but just start. Many times it may come down to timing, convenience, and other factors in your life. Staying the course, making sure nothing gets in your way, even if it’s just doing half of what you intended to do.
